MTV World Stage will once again take place in Malaysia for the 3rd consecutive year! After having two successful concerts at Sunway Surf Beach previously, MTV World Stage 2011 Live in Malaysia is set to stage at i-City , Shah Alam on July 24th,2011.
The outdoor concert will feature live performances from popular international, regional and local recording artists. The final lineup is: Thirty Seconds To Mars, Neon Trees, BEAST and Pop Shuvit.
Formed by Jared and Shannon Leto, Thirty Seconds To Mars is currently one of the world's biggest rock bands with over 4 million albums sold.
Like their name, Neon Trees are a combination of slick pop hoops and sturdy organic rock whose sound is themed with adolescent angst, longing, love lost and found, reminiscing the music of the ‘60s garage rock scene all the way to today’s dance rock anthems.
MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011 will be staged in front of a live audience of about 15,000 fans. The 2-hour on-air version of MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011 will premiere on MTV SEA channel on 8 August at 10pm (Indonesia), 11pm (Singapore, Hong Kong and the Philippines) and 12am (Malaysia). An hour-long version of MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011 will also be broadcast globally in 154 countries reaching over 550 million households later in the year.

Don't worry, head down to I-City Shah Alam this Saturday, 16th July in your best rock star outfit between 6-10p.m. and 120 passes will be given out to the best wannabe rockstar that day.
